Featuring found treasures, home decor, handcrafted gifts and vintage items, Beargrass Trading Company is a longtime dream come to fruition for a lifelong junquer.
Beargrass Trading Company is founded by a happily transplanted Chicagoan who six years ago relocated to beautiful Helena, MT to live close to family, and to enjoy activities that the beautiful state of Montana offers: hiking, camping, skiing, fishing and the never-ending search for locally found vintage junque.
The store’s name comes from my admiration of Beargrass, an amazingly beautiful, tough, and resilient plant that blooms gorgeous white flowers quite unpredictably, only every 5-7 years (and bears don’t like to eat the plant.) It’s one of God’s delights I’ve discovered since moving here to Montana!
